Ahlberg Engineering, Inc. performs all types of environmental assessments and if an environmental concern is uncovered, can assist in preparing mitigation or remediation plans.
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are conducted to identify, to the extent feasible, recognized environmental conditions affecting a parcel of land. These assessments are often done during a property transfer. A Phase I ESA includes: Federal, State, and Local Record Review, Historical Use Information Review, Physical Setting ReviewSite Reconnaissance, and Interviews Phase II Environmental Site Assessments are conducted to further assess suspect environmental conditions uncovered during the Phase I. A Phase II ESA often includes: Additional Research, Field Sampling and Testing, Asbestos Surveys, Lead Based Paint Surveys, Wetlands Surveys, and Analytical Laboratory Testing |
